In the Evangelism Track, the focus is on understanding and practicing evangelistic and apologetic strategies, especially in interaction with Mormons. You will develop a biblical and theoretical basis for culturally relevant evangelism and apologetics. This includes an understanding of the Mormon cultural identity and factors that influence how Mormons apprehend truth and make spiritual decisions. You will also gain practical experience sharing the good news of God’s grace with Mormons and answering their claims and objections. Emphasis will be placed on building relationships, and how personal life and service creates a context for the credibility of gospel proclamation.
Interns in this track will work in close cooperation with ministries that evangelize Mormons, and will each be assigned to assist some particular local church in its outreach efforts.
